This is an original expressionist landscape painted using a single palette knife. It captures local hiking and biking trail Rattlesnake Gulch in Millcreek Canyon, Utah. It is a peaceful mountain path lined with wildflowers and trees that arch over, creating dappled shade below. Colors featured are turquoise, emerald, and terracotta, with walnut brown and lilac accents.
This piece has all sides painted so no frame is necessary; it will look great propped on a shelf or hung on a wall.
Materials are acrylics on stretched canvas. Finished with gloss varnish to protect vibrancy of colors. Signed on front.
8x8 inches, 1/2 an inch deep.
