Leaving Zion at Sundown

Leaving Zion at Sundown

The expressionist landscape is painted on an oval canvas, flattering the red rock composition.  The vibrant colors capture the glow of sunset light on the red rocks of Zion National Park in Southern Utah.  Bold shapes and curving lines make for an energetic layout that draws the eye.   Layers of paint and a tertiary color scheme bring enchantment to this already magical landscape.

Colors featured are vermillion, azure, and celadon green accents.

This painting continues around the sides of the canvas, giving it an impressive modern effect. Ready to hang or sit on a ledge, no frame required.
Materials are acrylics on stretched canvas. Finished with gloss varnish to protect vibrancy of colors from UV light and dust.  Signed on front.

10x8 inches and 1/2 an inch deep.
